In Graves&#8217; disease, an enlarged thyroid (goiter) and multiple goiters (warm nodules) may be seen.<\/p>\n<h4>Thyroid scan with radioactive iodine (RAI):<\/h4>\n<p>This test examines iodine absorption by the thyroid.
